Gooseneck DriverFull TimeSUMMARY:Safely transport livestock (hogs) on time via intrastate and interstate while abiding by DOT regulations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Must be capable of regular and predictable attendanceo Able to work overtime as neededo Able to work holidays as needed• Capable to transport livestock via intrastate and interstate• Works with Transportation Manager on schedules• On Time Delivery• Performs other duties as needed and/or assignedQUALIFICATIONS:• Fill out and maintain proper daily log and mileage sheets per DOT regulations• Experienced driver preferred but willing to train• Valid CDL license with good driving record• Meet and maintain company insurance guidelines• Successfully pass renewal of DOT physical and required drug testing (random, post-accident)• Maintain certification and follow all TQA Guidelines in the Humane Handling of Livestock• Maintain clean transportation equipment and personal appearance• Work well with livestock site personnel and plant personnelBENEFITS: Health, Life, Short & Long term Disability, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Flex Spending Plan, Wellness Program, EAP, Paid Holidays, Paid Vacations, Paid Sick Days, Competitive Wage and Great People to work with!WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment and physical characteristics are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
