You will work Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with some varying shifts depending on business needs. What you'll do: Assists in the setup of the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for preparation of compounded solutions, using aseptic technique. Performs general cleaning and maintenance duties as directed. Participates in cleanroom product introduction activities. Prepares records and monitors results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing. Participates in training as required by supervisor What you've done: Obtained a High School Diploma or GED Kentucky State Pharmacy Technician License Required or be willing to obtain when hired You've worked in a 'fast-paced' environment and really embrace it Demonstrated the ability to follow very specific guidelines and procedures Developed strong basic math skills such as averages, percentages, and ratio Who you are: Methodical and disciplined - you welcome process and structure in your day You take pride in applying attention to detail and work with great accuracy and precision Always show up (on time) with a positive, professional attitude. No exceptions! Able to lift up to 49 lbs. occasionally and stand for a prolonged period of time Knowledge of proper aseptic gowning procedure and aseptic technique General knowledge of USP 797, USP 800 and cGMP's. Ability to perform pharmacy calculations and adhere to policies and procedures. Ability to apply basic phone etiquette skills when speaking to customers.
