We are seeking an HRPD Student , for our North American Headquarters (Edmonton, AB) for 4 months starting in May 2024. As an HRPD Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by: Assist with all aspects of the district student program including full cycle recruitment, onboarding/off boarding, compensation research, student events and career fair participation. Assist with full cycle recruitment for salaried employees including resume review, coordinating interviews, conducting prescreens, and reference checks. Support monthly metrics and reporting processes related to career management and vacation planning. Support district HRPD initiatives related to employee engagement, diversity and inclusion and health & wellness. Support activities requiring a high degree of confidentiality, attention to detail, and accuracy. Other duties as required. What you will bring to the role: Pursuing a degree or diploma with a Human Resources Major. Must be proactive in terms of anticipating needs and follow-up items for the project team. Expert in Microsoft office products such as Excel, Power Point, Word, and Access. Must have excellent interpersonal, telephone, and organizational skills.
