Web Designer Industry: Retail Location: Isle of Wight ( this is not a remote working role)Hours: 9am - 5pm Days: 3 days per week (Monday - Friday)Duration: Permanent Duties: Front end management, maintenance and development of multiple Word Press/ Woo Commerce sites, liaison with Graphic and Content Designers Ongoing design and development of UX-underpinned responsive designs for mobile, tablet and desktop, working alongside IT Manager using PHP, CSS and HTML to ensure all elements work together on different browsers and devices, Designing and implementing new features and functionality, Researching, integrating and manging plug-ins and integrating with third party services, Managing technical aspect of CMS to ensure performance and availability. Experience: Must have proven experience of designing, developing and deploying responsive design websites including a combination of programming skills in PHP, CSS, HTML and Java Script plus the ability to design using the Adobe Creative Suite. Must have the ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages, Must have a good understanding of content managements systems, Must be methodical and proactive, with good problem solving skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
