Cascadia Metals is seeking an experienced and motivated Loader to join our growing team. This role will be a permanent, full-time position and is located at our Delta, BC branch. Who We Are? We are looking for a driven team member, who shares our champion mindset and values. This role involves loading trucks and material handling. Preference will be given to those with forklift and steel handling experience. Responsibilities: Loading trucks from small customer pick-ups to full B-train trailers Unloading trucks with coil, sheet and site supplies Unload rail cars and containers Operate a forklift to move material within the warehouse and yard Organizing and sorting material for loading and space optimization Scanning loads with an RF scanner Reading paperwork to ensure the accuracy of load Double-checking loads for accuracy Poly wrap trucks Other duties as required Qualifications: Must be reliable and punctual Forklift experience Crane experience preferred but not mandatory Steel handling experience preferred but not mandatory Flexibility; able to multi-task and work as part of a team Ability to read orders and complete basic paperwork Why Work for Us?
