Steve Marshall Ford is Looking to Grow Our Team! As a Used Vehicle Reconditioning Technician at Steve Marshall Ford, you'll work closely with our service team. The role requires a solid understanding of automotive systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to use various tools and diagnostic equipment. For the right individual, we are willing to provide a signing and/or relocation bonus, so living in this amazing part of BC can be in your future! Responsibilities: Perform safety inspections on used vehicles, and then carry out repairs and reconditioning Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems Use diagnostic equipment and tools to backss and troubleshoot issues accurately Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and other automotive systems Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks Replace or repair faulty parts, components, and systems Maintain detailed records of all inspections, diagnoses, and repairs performed on each vehicle Ensure that all repairs meet industry standards and comply with safety regulations Conduct quality control checks to verify the effectiveness of repairs and maintenance Collaborate with other technicians, service advisors, and parts department to ensure efficient workflow Requirements: Automotive technician: 4 years BC Driver's License Red Seal preferred, but apprentice considered Dealership Experience Can work independently and as part of a team Tools required to perform repairs and services Wage: $35-$40 per hour; depending on experience Benefits: Company events Extended health benefits Unlimited hours Boot allowance Ability to commute/relocate: Position is in Campbell River, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Steve Marshall Ford in Campbell River has been serving North Vancouver Island residents for over fifty years now. .
