ISLAND OWL MAZDA is growing again and we are looking for an Lube Technician / Apprentice Mechanic to join our team in our busy Vancouver Island location. Our ideal candidate has a passion for the automotive industry, and a desire to work and live in an amazing location on Vancouver Island. Our Dealer facilities have upgraded its customer experience and service capacity, and we are looking for a great team player to further increase our presence in the community. A 2nd or 3rd year apprentice looking to make a career in the auto business would be a great fit. Responsibilities: Perform Maintenance services on a variety of makes and models following the OEM guidelines Change and repair tires Maintain shop cleanliness Work in a safe and productive manner Requirements: Effectively handle priorities, and meet deadlines Work in a team-based environment and achieve common goal Clean driver's license Wage: Depending on experience; $18-$25 per hour Benefits: Company events Extended health benefits Experience: Automotive: 2 years (preferred) At Island Owl Mazda, we are in the business of helping clients from Campbell River and surrounding areas find the perfect new Mazda or pre-owned vehicle.
