Who are you? Trusted Employee: The Government trusts you and so do we. You possess an active Top Secret Clearance. You must also be able to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) suitability. Development Expert: You have 2 + years of direct relevant experience lab management or system administration. You have experience with multiple operating systems like Windows, Linux/Unix, and MacOS. You also have experience with Virtual Private Networks (VPN) and virtual desktops such as Citrix and VMWare. Tech Savvy: You have experience and proficiency in the following areas: Computer Network Defense (CND) policies, procedures, and regulations Defense-in-depth principles and network security architecture Database management and implementation Asset management practices and principles Hardware and software provisioning practices Boundary protection and enclaving Authentication and access management technologies Knowledgeable: You have put in the hard work and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related degree with 2+ years of lab management or systems administration experience. If you have a High School diploma, you should have 4-6 years of lab management or systems administration experience. Field Certified: You are a go-getter and an excellent test taker. You earned and maintain at least one of the following certifications: Any DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II certification preferred What we do:The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is dedicated to responding to cyber incidents and hunting proactively for malicious cyber activity. The DHS centers its resources around securing the nation's infrastructure, and Fusion Technology aims to support this mission by providing advanced technical assistance, proactive hunting, and rapid onsite incident response utilizing host and network-based cybersecurity analysis capabilities.What you’ll do: Employ security concepts, theories, insights, tools, and methodologies to mitigate system weaknesses and vulnerabilities Apply advanced analytical skills and technical resources at the tactical levels and implementing infrastructure solutions supporting command decision making and execution of mission requirements Provide support as needed to lab staff in the tasks of provisioning and issuing equipment to end users, as well as maintaining inventory database Provide support for systems administration tasks such as patching, updating, and maintaining network infrastructure Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment in the lab environment Provision and provide support for Virtual Private Network (VPN) or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (e.g., Citrix) to users Perform large scale configuration management and deployment across Windows, MacOS, Linux/Unix, and other operating systems and virtual environments Perform implementation of granular access control Maintain Fly Away Kits (FAKs) sanitization, inventory, repairs, and maintenance Monitor systems for acceptable performance and user accessibility, establish back-ups, and monitor systems security Create monitoring reports and logs Write technical and standard operating procedures Lead a small team What matters to you matters to us.Fusion Technology values its employees and works hard to ensure proper care for them and their families.
