Database Architect - Clearance Required Job Locations US-VA-Springfield Job ID 2023-9985 # of Openings 1 Category Data/Analytics Overview LMI is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Database Architect with experience in GEOINT to join a dynamic team providing end-to-end systems architecture services support an Intelligence Community client. LMI is a consultancy dedicated exclusively to partnering with the US Government in support of a myriad of sensitive mission objectives. Responsibilities Design strategies for enterprise databases, data warehouse systems, and multidimensional networks. Set standards for database operations, programming, query processes, and securityModel, design, and construct large relational databases or data warehouses. Create and optimize data models for warehouse infrastructure and workflowIntegrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality.Work closely with stakeholders and development teams to understand business requirements Qualifications REQUIRED:Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, information systems, or a related degree.5+ years of experience as a Database ArchitectExperience analyzing business requirements, designing database systems, and/or developing data modelsKnowledge of database design best practicesExperience designing SQL database solutions, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL ServerExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Must be self-directed, detail oriented and able to coordinate and work with a dynamic team and multiple stakeholders.Able to communicate effectively and confidently with end users, technologists, team members, and executive management.Strong problem solving and analytical skills.Must have a current TS/SCI clearanceDESIRED:Experience as a database architect within the Intelligence CommunityExperience working with Geospatial data#LI-SH1 LMI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
