In this role, you will work closely with our clients, assisting them with accounting, finance, and control-related tasks to support critical initiatives. Your expertise in managing financial processes and controls, especially in times of change, will be instrumental. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate closely with our clients' executives and management to drive financial objectives, deliver timely accounting data and reports, and support key financial goals. Oversee the month-end accounting close process, ensuring accurate and timely results in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Review and analyze client financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and issues that may impact the business, presenting data-driven insights to leadership for informed decision-making. Possess a deep understanding of effective internal controls and offer practical recommendations to enhance our clients' control systems. Serve as a trusted partner and valuable advisor to business leaders, providing excellent customer service. Ensure that project timelines and objectives are met while making value-added recommendations to enhance the business. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in public accounting and industry, working with mid-size to large corporations. Profound knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Expertise in general ledger accounting, month-end close processes, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Experience working with multiple large ERP systems. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's Degree. CPA, CMA, CGMA certification. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build relationships and establish trust across all levels of the organization. Organized and pragmatic, thriving in a results-oriented environment.
