London Teaching Pool is currently seeking for an experienced support worker to join our care team on a part time basis to provide support and promote the independence of our adult client with learning disability based in Colchester. The preferred support worker will be covering hours for London Teaching Pool for service users with Learning disability and Autism on the following days. Monday 9:00 13:30Tuesday 10:00 14:00Friday 13:00 17:00 The preferred support worker should have experience with providing support with similar clients and also ensure they will be able to engage the client with age appropriate activities, however the support worker must be consistent and be car driver, including having a good local knowledge within Colchester and surroundings, as you will drive the client to activities with the live in carer. This is a part time role for 21 hours a week. What we expect from you: To provide high standards of support to service users in the community, including assistance with, escorting, budgeting, and shopping To be reliable, punctual, and excellent duty of care Previous support experience is preferred.
