At UCB we utilize a hybrid work model, mandating a two: day per week on: site presence, with the flexibility for the remaining days to work from home. About the role The Senior Legal Counsel is part of the Legal Team working with Early Solutions, Development Solutions and Supply and Technology Solutions (S and TS). The prime focus of the role is on legal support for S and TS. S and TS includes internal and external manufacturing (small molecules, biologics and gene therapy), global engineering, development sciences, global supply chain, devices, procurement and IT. The Senior Legal Counsel contributes and has a major impact on the legal counselling of the daily operations of S and TS and will also advise on a number of strategic projects. The geographical scope of the role is global, and the job holder would be based in Brussels or Slough, as locations where most S and TS populations are located in Europe. Who you'll work with You will be part of a team of 9 passionate colleagues inspired by patients with a strong team spirit. You will work closely with your team members, various business stakeholders and with other in: house lawyers. You will also work with external partners and stakeholders. Coordination of external counsels on selected topics will be part of your job as well. You will have the opportunity to further develop your expertise in a global and highly complex environment where you can constantly learn and contribute to continuous improvement. What you'll do : Provide trusted counsel and manage different aspects of the legal support for S and TS.Handle extensive contract and legal advisory work relating to manufacturing and supply, clinical trial supplies, distribution, logistics and warehousing,.
