Marketing Officer (Business Development) Job Type: Part time, 28 hours per week (0.8 FTE) Location: Cirencester Salary: Grade 6 A GBP 28,751 : A GBP 33,965 per annum (pro rata for part: time) The Royal Agricultural University (RAU) has been at the forefront of agricultural education and a key contributor to the land: based sector for more than 175 years. They pride themselves in combining knowledge and industry connections with an innovative and forward: thinking approach. The Business Development Team at the Royal Agricultural University (RAU) is a newly established Team (March 2023) as part of the Commercial Services and Facilities Department. The team brings together existing Teams in Business Innovation and Growth (Farm 491 and Cirencester Growth Hub), Professional Training, and seeks to grow capacity and expertise and establish Teams in International, Research and Knowledge Exchange. The Department also supports the University Laboratories and their development as well as working closely with the Enterprise, Entrepreneurship and Employability Team. The Role To support and develop marketing activity across the Business Development Team activities (research and knowledge exchange, professional training (currently Executive Education and Continuing Professional Development), the Allison Centre (where Farm491 and the Growth Hub reside) and the RAU Laboratories (this role does not include support for international activities). To maximise promotional and engagement opportunities for Business Development activities across multiple platforms such as print, digital and media and through events, courses and other outreach activities, and through the development and implementation of marketing and communication plans and campaigns, fully integrated with annual activities, campaigns and events, for all areas of the Business Development Team.
