Part Time Nights Care and Support Assistant Pennefather Court, Aylesbury GBP 11.37 10.5 hours per night, 3 nights per week We are seeking someone who values kindness and patience to join our dedicated team as a Care and Support Assistant to make a real difference to the lives of our residents at Pennefather Court. We are a small residential home close to the centre of Aylesbury providing care and support for 14 adults with physical and learning disabilities. We provide a comprehensive induction programme as well as on: going training to develop new and existing skills and encourage progression. Sanctuary has their own Learning and Development Academy, who provide a wide range of training courses, open to all. Read more about Pennefather Court on our website The role of Care and Support Assistant will include: : Providing a high quality, personalised care and support service: Delivering expert support to residents including the sensitive delivery of personal care and managing medication: Encouraging residents to lead fulfilling lives by building positive relationships and developing hobbies and interests: Managing nutrition and hydration needs: Promoting safe practices and undertaking risk backssments Skills and experiences: : Personalised approach, ideally with experience within a similar, care related role: Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong " can: do" attitude: Strong organisational skills, as well as functional literacy and numeracy: Good communication skills, allowing you to build relationships with residents: Ability to react quickly to changing priorities whilst working to deadlines and targets: NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards.
