Erie 1 BOCES is seeking applicant for Data Support SpecialistErie 1 BOCES has an immediate opening for a Data Support Specialist to assist school districts with the data collection and reporting process for mandated state reporting. Responsibilities include helping school personnel understand state reporting requirements; correcting errors in data collection; managing critical data flows and timelines; developing training materials and documentation; and keeping the schools on track with deadlines. The successful candidate will be analytical with good communication skills and be comfortable training in a one-on-one or small group situation.Bachelor’s degree and 2 years experience in software programming, software support, student management systems, databases, or data analysis is preferred. Knowledge of NY state education department regulations is a plus. Experience with student management systems, databases or data analysis is required.
