Position Overview Acts as a receptionist for the Resident Care Unit. Performs clerical duties for the Resident Unit and assists members of the heath team with specified duties. Experience Previous experience as a Unit Ward Clerk is required. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Grade 12. Unit Clerk certification required. Medical terminology required. It is recommended that, at minimum, staff possess the Family & Friends category of training. Qualifications and Skills Accurate, effective communication in English required. Legible handwriting. Computer experience an asset. Demonstrated keyboard skills required. Typing essential 40 wpm. Works within the Centre's core values, philosophy, vision, C. Q. I. goals, policies and procedures.
