PV Battery Storage Electrical Designer Location : Woking (Hybrid) Salary : £55,000 + Annual performance bonus Responsibilities: Carry out the LV and MV electrical design processes. Effectively oversee internal and external stakeholders spanning multiple countries. Develop Single Line Diagrams, technical specifications, risk backssments, and contribute to the selection of electrical equipment and components. Engineer substations, conduct cable calculations, and formulate SCADA designs. Devise designs for site communication networks, including those utilizing Fibre Optics. Collaborate closely with our commercial team to scrutinize, clarify specifications, and propose enhancements. Keep local design documents up-to-date and generate materials such as IOM manuals, instruction sheets, and commissioning instructions. Ensure adherence to local standards and actively contribute to design-related activities. Qualification+ Exp requirements: Proficient in BESS site layout, site interfaces, and solar integration. Demonstrated international experience in ensuring compliance with pertinent local standards and regulations. Adept at managing timelines and budgets for projects. Familiarity with ICPs/DNOs (Independent Connection Providers/Distribution Network Operators). Experienced in substation design and cable routing.
