Frisco First Surgery Center is looking for a PRN Preop/PACU RN , for our ambulatory surgery center. The ideal candidate will be a energetic, and a team player. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures the pre-operative area has a clean and therapeutic environment for all patients at all times Ensures supplies and equipment needed are available and in good working order Admits the patient to the unit and prepares him/her for the scheduled procedure Makes initial assessment and determines the nursing needs of the patient, communicates additional discharge needs when applicable (transportation, durable medical equipment) Explains nursing procedures and actions taken to help reduce anxiety REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or vocational school Registered Nurse (active and unencumbered license) in the State of Texas BLS and ACLS required Previous pre-operative care experience required About Frisco First Surgery Center Frisco First Surgery Center is an Ambulatory Surgical Center in Plano, Texas, and provides outpatient services for General Surgery, Interventional pain Management, Orthopedic Surgery, and more.
