Job Summary: Senior Energy Services Engineer Ferrovial Energy Solutions US is seeking an experienced Energy Engineer to lead sustainable energy and infrastructure projects. This position is responsible for design, development, and implementation of energy-efficiency measures, water and energy infrastructure, and renewable energy solutions for municipal district energy projects, university campuses, hospitals, and transportation assets among others. This person will work closely with business development and finance executives and will eventually manage a technical team. Responsibilities: Conduct energy audits to identify energy-saving opportunities. Design and develop sustainable energy solutions, including renewable energy systems and energy-efficient technologies, including understanding the technical requests of a bid or a customer in competitive processes and developing a comprehensive solution that meets the needs. Manage complex project proposal development with multiple external contributors. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to assess the viability of energy projects. Coordinate with the corporate energy as a service team for references and best practices Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and project success. Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project delivery. Provide technical expertise and support to other team members as needed. Stay up to date with emerging energy technologies, regulations, and industry best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. 5 years of experience in energy engineering, project management, and renewable energy. Strong technical knowledge of energy systems including central utility plants, industrial and commercial water and energy infrastructure, and district heating and energy as a service projects. Experience with energy modeling software and project management tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with sustainability reporting and energy efficiency certifications preferred. Proposal and audit report writing experience preferred. Professional engineering (PE) license preferred. Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credential preferred.
