Preferred Primary Care Physician s is currently recruiting for full-time Scheduling Coordinator to work out of our Central Administrative office located in Canonsburg, PA. Knowledge of the healthcare field and medical terminology are a must. This position does offer the possibility of remote work (2 days remote, 3 in office) after the candidate's successful 90-Day training period. General Purpose of the Scheduling Coordinator Position: Under general supervision, serves to schedule patients for their preventative medical care and appointments- utilizing skills of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality in a professional manner. Scheduling Coordinator Job Responsibilities: · Review and organize assigned lists of appointments to be made · Make initial phone calls to patients to schedule their appointments · Maintain computer scheduling in accordance with office protocol · Answer telephones, screen calls, take messages and provide information in accordance with established protocol · Provide clerical support as needed · Attend required meetings · Participate in educational and professional development activities consistent with business needs · Maintain strictest confidentiality of medical and corporate information · Follow all HIPPA regulations Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience/On the Job Training: Minimum six (6) month medical front office experience.
