SUMMARY OF DUTIES Completes health care plan of actions for children with special health care needs; provides training to direct-care staff providing effective and accurate medication administration for clients ensuring appropriate protocols; provides parent assistance, education, and training as needed. EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS Registered Nurse I Specialized Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency; includes additional Post Graduate courses required to perform job. Current RN License. Registered Nurse II Specialized Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency; includes additional Post Graduate courses required to perform job. Current RN License. Registered Nurse III Masters' Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency. Requires knowledge of an advanced type. Other (Specify): Hawaii Licensed Registered Nurse. EXPERIENCE Registered Nurse I: 0-4 years of nursing experience. Registered Nurse II: 4-8 years of nursing experience. Registered Nurse III: 1+ years of Post Masters experience. SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed to meet client needs. OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS This job requires a valid Hawaii driver's license and a clear driver's abstract and continued employment may be contingent on maintaining a clear driver's abstract.
