Status: Non-Exempt / hourly Position Location: Great Livin' LLC Facility / Homes and Community Reports to: Great Livin' Staff Development and Training Coordinator Supervises: N/A Position status: Full time Transportation: Required Job Requirements Summary: This position will assist the Training Coordinator with onboarding, learning and professional development of Great Livin' LLC. employees, and training all required courses for Great Livin' LLC employees. As a Training Coordinator Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing and ensuring Great Livin' LLC. employees (Direct Support Personnel, Administration, etc.) gain knowledge, practical skills, and motivation to carry out work-related tasks. As Great Livin's Training Coordinator Assistant, you will assist the Training Coordinator in the ongoing, long-term improvement of employee's skills, allowing employees to fulfill their potential within Great Livin' LLC. Roles and Responsibilities: Training Coordinator Assistant will assist Great Livin's Training Coordinator to develop, deliver and evaluate training programs for all employees (Direct Support Personnel, Administration, etc.). Become fully certified with DOH/DDSD required courses as a trainer (Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation, Individual Service Plan, CPR/First Aid/AED, Handle with Care, etc.) within 1 year of hire. Assistant will assist in assessing measures that enhance employee and organizational performance. Follow all required Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Policies and Procedures, as they related to the Training Department. Assist in scheduling and coordinating training activities for Training Coordinator, contact instructors and assistant themselves. Re-train employees due to quality issues, deemed by the Quality Assurance Officer, Manager or Program Director. Provides performance coaching and train-the-trainer programs. Create, perform, and complete special projects and other duties as assigned. Assist Training Coordinator/Human Resources with ongoing recruitment for Great Livin' LLC. Stay up to date with all training modules that are approved through DOH/DDSD. Track and implement training for all employees at Great Livin' LLC using external DDSD database and internal database. Model the Culture of the Agency Assist Training Coordinator with New Employee Orientation. Assist with Hands-on modeling and training in all environments (administration, individuals' homes, etc.) Provide support and mentoring to managers and caregivers/coaches. Assist in direction, problem solving, and advice to House Managers and Caregivers/Coaches. Assist in providing the module of the culture and service delivery. Additional Tasks: Attend all meetings as required (Management, weekly check-ins, QA/QI, etc.) Other tasks as assigned by CEO, COO, Program Director and within the guidelines mission and ethics of Great Livin' LLC. Assist in training of job-related requirements per Great Livin' LLC Policies and Procedures, State Standards, and expectations of employees (including - as applicable, but not limited to; completion of all duties required of employees before leaving shift, completion of Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation Reporting, GER's, iSolved, knowledge on Therap, etc.) Training and collaboration with Management regarding Incident Management, Policies and Procedures on an annual basis (Updated versions of ANE), and as needed. Assist reception, office administrator, and training coordinator with office duties (answering calls, checking in visitors, etc.) Completion of clerical duties in the office. Driving is required with this position. Training Coordinator Assistant reposts to Training Coordinator, Program Director and COO. Essential Functions Job Requirements: Timely and accurate filing of necessary paperwork/reports. Concise and accurate completion of assigned tasks. Conduct himself/herself as a member of the Great Livin' team. Assist with the growth, quality, and direction of Great Livin'. Cohesive communication between Great Livin' Operations Director, Executive Director, Program Manager, and relevant team members related to Great Livin' and the people we support. Ability to use all computer equipment and software necessary to do the job of House Manager. Ability to lift 50 pounds and move 200 pounds with assistance. Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and curriculum development techniques. Knowledge of leadership/management/organizational development, assessment protocols, change management strategies, and processes. Effective presentation and group facilitation skills. Strong interpersonal/human relations skills. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to motivate and instruct individuals with limited reading and comprehension skills. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of human resource processes. Ability to organize and prioritize duties. Ability to operate a personal computer and use various software programs. Helping managers solve specific training and employee issues, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups. Experience/Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree, in organizational/industrial psychology, education, business, human resources, or related field preferred but not necessary; and/or with two (2) years of related experience as a trainer. Valid New Mexico Driver's License. Valid Auto Liability Insurance. Pass a required background check. Complete a TB test (tuberculosis) Test with a negative result. Must follow dress code per handbook and dress in business casual attire at all times.
