Description:
Provides assistance in coordinating recreation services for the Haltom City Recreation Center; assists with planning and execution of leagues, special events, classes and programs; responds to inquiries and provides customer service to the public; and performs other related duties as required. Example of Duties: Works with Recreation Supervisor to plan, promote, and execute facility programs, including communicating with and processing pay for contract instructors. Performs daily operations of Recreation Center such as opening and closing the facility. Assists in resolving complaints and other customer service related issues. Responds to public inquiries regarding Parks and Recreation programs, activities, and events. Collects and processes funds received for recreation memberships, classes, and sports fees. Assists Recreation Supervisor with execution of a wide variety of Parks and Recreation Department and City sponsored special events. Prepares reports and other types of documentation; updates and maintains departmental records and files. Typical Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Two years experience coordinating recreation services and special events Valid Texas Driver's License, or the ability to obtain one upon hire Job Posted by ApplicantPro
