Austin Country Club is currently hiring for a full-time Kitchen Line Cook / Breakfast Chef to assist our restaurant in providing premium culinary offerings to our members in the Austin, TX area. This culinary position earns a competitive wage of $17 - $22/hour , depending on skills and experience. DAY-TO-DAY This full-time restaurant position with our hospitality team works a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays . As a Kitchen Line Cook and Breakfast Chef with our hospitality team, you assist in delivering first-class cuisine to our country club members. Using your exceptional culinary skills, you prepare all meals promptly and efficiently, ensuring any special requests or accommodations are met. You monitor your workspace to make sure the area is kept clean, tidy, and in compliance with health and sanitation codes. As needed, you support other team members with preparing our premium culinary offerings to keep our kitchen operating smoothly. In addition, you help set up and break down dining areas as needed, ensuring equipment, linens, and other parts of the stations are kept clean and in working order. You maintain a strong working knowledge of food and beverage items as well as assist with event functions. When issues arise, you're quick to report them to management. You also attend and participate in any required meetings or training.
