Vali Incorporated is seeking a Test Engineer to support the US Army located in Tobyhanna Army Depot, PA. The successfully candidate will be well organized, analytical, mindful of details, and a self-motivator with a background in engineering sciences. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Work on modern and legacy computers and operating systems to include multiple versions of Microsoft Windows and Unix. Design test solutions using National Instruments suite of software such as Tests and, CVI and LabView. Develop test solutions which incorporate PXI and VXI instrumentation standards. Develop tests which involve legacy test equipment control busses such as IEEE-488, RS232 and RS422. Test and troubleshooting of failed circuits as well as operationally verify working circuitry and devices. JOB REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES): BS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering 5yrs experience required. Possess strong technical writing and verbal communication skills. Requires the ability to express technical knowledge in a clear, concise and coherent manner to potentially audiences of a less technical background.
