Riverside Country Club of Bozeman, MT, is looking to hire seasonal Assistant Racquet Sports Professionals to help the Director of Racquet Sports across all areas of operation in the Racquet Sports Department. The Assistant Racquet Sports Professional will teach private/semi-private and group lessons. Additionally, He/she will participate in camps, clinics, social events, activities, or tournaments as needed. The Assistant Racquet Sports Professional position will split his/her time between doing office and administrative duties and working "on the court." While it is impossible to quantify precisely, it is estimated that approximately 20% of the time will be devoted to administrative tasks, with approximately 80% devoted to court time. Assistant Racquet Sports Professionals at Riverside will earn a competitive hourly wage of $12.00 - $16.00/hour, depending on experience, in addition to a generous opportunity to earn commission on private and semi-private lessons, clinics, and racquet stringing. ABOUT RIVERSIDE COUNTRY CLUB Established in 1959, we are a member-owned country club with an 18-hole championship golf course, racquet sports facilities, swimming pools, banquet facilities, and dining facilities. As the only full-service, family-oriented country club in the Gallatin Valley, we pride ourselves in our warm, friendly atmosphere that caters to our members and their families needs. We believe in treating our employees with the same respect as our members and guests. After more than 60 years, we are a fixture in the Bozeman area for many years to come. We provide training and give our employees the tools to succeed. Responsibilities and Duties: Assist the Director of Racquet Sports in the Racquet Sports Department's operation both on and off the court. Off-court duties include, but are not limited to, working in the pro shop, answering phone calls, communicating directly with Riverside members, stringing racquets, stocking items, some light maintenance work, taking out the trash, etc. On-court duties include teaching private and group lessons, running clinics and camps, helping to facilitate member social events and tournaments. Pickleball experience is desired but not required for this position. The Assistant Racquet Sport Professional position will need to become comfortable with teaching some Pickleball lessons and clinics. The Assistant Racquet Sports Professional is expected to attend all meetings, events, tournaments, etc., as required or requested by the Director of Racquet Sports. Be willing to work daytime, some evenings, and some weekends or holidays. Become fluent in the various Club software programs related to the successful administration of the Racquet Sports Department. Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager or other management of The Club. Qualifications: Previous racquet/tennis/country club experience in a similar role preferred. Playing ability of 4.5 or above (collegiate level preferred). Basic computer skills including email, Outlook, Word, Excel, POS system, membership database, internet, and website abilities.
