We are the best and largest seafood company in the state of Hawaii with an amazing opportunity to grow and gain experience in the seafood industry. This position is located at our Honolulu Location. Full Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Data Entry/Office Clerk requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Under minimal supervision, the clerk performs daily office duties at Tropic Fish Hawaii to ensure all office business functions are completed, including invoicing, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELEGATION The Data Entry/Office Clerk will work on being cross trained in every department and can step in at any time to provide coverage when feasible and possible. Primary sales data entry function to insure all orders received overnight are entered into the system. Understand the policies and procedures of deliveries: minimum orders, COD's, order cutoff times and driver recordings on invoice and on log sheet. Input order information into the various company programs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED with a minimum two years of data entry/office clerk experience. Valid driver's license required. Competent in computer skills: Microsoft Office Application (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Other Qualifications Excellent written, verbal and basic math skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a high degree of judgment, especially when working with information that is confidential in nature. Job Type: Part-timeSchedule: Night shift COVID-19 considerations:All employees are required to wear mask at all times. Proof of vaccination is required upon hiring, and/or a negative test must be taken 3 days prior to start date. For unvaccinated employees, weekly testing will be required prior to reporting to work.Ability to commute/relocate: Honolulu, HI 96819: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Data entry/Office: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: One location
