Web Designer/Social Media Staff

Description:
Web designer/Social media staff will create weekly posts on social media and aid in either creation of new sites or help redesign/update pre-existing sites. Additionally, provide photography/videography support as needed. Reports To: SBR Marketing Director and Media Director Responsibilities: Provide cheerful and helpful service to all Summit Bechtel Reserve participants and staff Follow the policies and procedures outlined in the Summit Bechtel Reserve Staff Handbook and in staff training Curate at least 5 posts a week Must have mastery of proper file management Inventory, manage, and care for any equipment issued by the Summit Bechtel Reserve Participate and exhibit Scout Spirit at camp-wide programs and daily activities Any other duties as assigned by full-time staff and/or direct supervisor Qualifications & Training: Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America 18 Years old or older Must have a portfolio Good communication and instructional skills Significant experience with wed design Significant experience in social media promotion Significant experience with video and video editing Significant experience with photography and photo editing Experience in the Adobe Suite preferred Attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook software Physical Requirements: Must meet the Summit Bechtel Reserve's high adventure height/weight requirements as laid out in the Summit BSA Health & Medical Record. (Clicking the link will download the file) Must be able to walk/hike around site, bend, stretch, and lift up to 50lbs Uniform: BSA Official Field Uniform on participant arrival days and during most camp-wide events; Summit staff uniform all other times. Summit Staff Shirt Provided. Housing: Rooming in the Piggot Bunkhouse
