We take a comprehensive look at our client's energy usage to identify savings and renewable solution opportunities. We manage the entire process from concept through engineering through installation and provide ongoing O&M support. Summary of the Project Development Engineer Intern: The Project Development Engineer Intern will be responsible for performing analysis to qualify project leads and post installation performance. With assistance, he or she will perform tariff research, utility bill analysis, financial modeling and project performance monitoring and analysis. He or she will also gain exposure to design, engineering and construction of PV systems. The intern exposure will also include business development and operations tasks on a case by case basis. During the internship he or she will learn to communicate the potential for utility spend savings and develop an understanding of energy solutions. General Duties: Facilitate, develop and complete analysis related to leads and project qualifications Gain a strong understanding of utilities serving PSG customers and sales targets Perform utility analysis for PSG leads and targets Perform project financial modeling Monitor active PV sites, analyze and present Project performance With guidance, recommend performance and monitoring improvements With guidance, qualify leads and contribute to PSG pipeline strategy Knowledge, Education and Experience: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science Degree Program and maintain a minimum college GPA requirement of 2.90 on a 4.00 scale; cumulative, no rounding or a Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Ability to establish and manage relationships within and outside of an organization Strong analytical capabilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects Excellent decision quality and command skills Passion for Renewable Energy and Sustainability Other Requirements: Could require travel to project locations Observe all company procedures and safety rules Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction This job description shall remain fluid and will be reviewed on an as needed basis .
