Aeromechanical Engineer I

Description:
Aero Mechanical Engineer Essential Functions: Develop and analyze mechanical systems for aircraft and spacecraft, including engines, airframes, and avionics. Conduct simulations, testing, and prototyping to validate designs and ensure they meet performance and safety requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and systems engineers, to integrate mechanical systems into larger aerospace systems. Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential mechanical failures. Design and oversee the manufacturing and assembly processes of mechanical components, ensuring they meet quality and pe rformance standards. Maintain accurate documentation of designs, processes, and test results. Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Flight test or R/C experience a plus 0-3 years of experience in aerospace or a related industry. Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or CATIA. Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control procedures. Understanding of regulatory and industry standards, such as FAA regulations, AS9100, and ISO 9001. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
