Responsibilities: Develop and execute the internal audit plan, working with both internal and external partners to oversee, test, and develop appropriate operating controls, processes, and practices. Assist in the development of the annual audit plan. Plan and perform operational and financial audits for both domestic and international markets. Identify business process risks. Perform audit work, including plan preparation, work papers, finding, and associated reports; verifies the accuracy of financial records as they pertain to assets, liabilities, receipts, expenditures, and related transactions. Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, objectives, short-and long-range planning; develops and implements projects and programs to assist in the accomplishment of established goals. Develop testing methodologies to evaluate the adequacy of controls. Document the results of the evaluations. Develop recommendations and reports based on audits and present these ideas to senior management. Formulate professional development and educational plans for junior staff. Produce reports that underline problems and provide prospective ways out. Guarantee compliance with external and internal requirements. Preparing analysis for departments. Conducting investigations into irregularities and errors. Coordinate with external internal audit resources to ensure alignment and efficient accomplishment of stated audit goals and objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. 5 or more years of internal audit experience, Big 4 experience preferred. Some international experience is preferred. 2 or more years of management experience. Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in good standing or practicing Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). In-depth knowledge of GAAP guidelines and Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations. Experience examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. Experience reviewing large amounts of information to ensure accuracy, summarizing into high-level analysis, and communicating to upper management for decision-making. Ability to build relationships while asking tough questions. Ability to persuade and influence others. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
