Comfort Systems USA Southwest is looking for a motivated Journeyman Service Technician to join the team!! $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS Benefits: Competitive wages Medical, Dental & Vision benefits 401K retirement program with Immediate employer contribution Paid vacation Paid sick Paid holidays Company Truck POSITION PURPOSE: The Service Technician is primarily responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs to building technical systems. The Service Technician will also ensure that all work carried out meets the Building Services Division safety, quality, and customer standards and achieves the overall business plans and objectives. Displays an exceptionally high level of productivity, and quality results. Provides independent decisions, and creative and viable alternatives. Little to no supervision is required. Independent decision-making. Commercial. BASIC DUTIES: Display a thorough understanding of air conditioning principles/systems and the relevant codes and industry standards that govern their maintenance and installation. Effectively maintain, diagnose problems, make repairs, and perform work of a technical nature on all air-conditioning systems. Participate as required in the company's on-call rotation. Ensure compliance with all Building Services Division Policies and Procedures. Hold valid EPA certification 3 Years' Experience Pre-Employment drug screening and background check are required.
