The Accounts Payable Specialist will, first and foremost, live out our core values. This position involves working on a team of accounting professionals. Applicants must be willing and able to follow directions from their supervisor. Ability to work well in a team environment and on your own. Learn, master, and contribute to improve Weather Shield policies, procedures, and systems. You'll also: Have proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role. Have In-depth knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards and industry regulations. Be responsible for receiving, processing, and verifying invoices to include accurate job and department costing. Be responsible for credit card and vendor management. Perform account recons as needed. Assist with month end closing including reconciling accounts, Compile and prepare routine reports for department support Provide backup for other accounting/office functions Knowledge of Business Central ERP is a plus but not required. We work Monday through Friday. The position is on premises at our Grand Rapids office with some flexibility to hybrid after training.
