O Bee Credit Union is looking for a full-time Mortgage Loan Officer to work at out of Point Ruston Branch and Fern Hill Branch in Tacoma, Washington. The ideal candidate must have at least five years of mortgage lending experience in a financial services setting. The base salary + commission pay structure offers flexibility based on your needs, with a base range from $32,739 - $50,000 + commission, paid monthly. While you build your portfolio, you will receive a guaranteed salary for the first 4 months. We are a locally focused financial institution with a long history in the beer brewing industry. Essential duties: Originates high-quality mortgage loans, including Conventional, Jumbo, FHA, USDA, VA loans, construction loans and Reverse mortgages Meets with potential customers to understand their financial needs and find the best mortgage product to meet those needs Initiates marketing activities and promotional strategies to attract new customers Manages the customer experience through the entire loan process, from origination and analysis to loan closing Basic Requirements: High School Diploma or GED 5 years mortgage lending experience in a financial services setting, including documented ability to self-generate at least $1.2 million per month Experience with FHA, VA and USDA and Reverse Mortgages Flexible hours, weekend hours and after hours a must Must be able to pass a background and credit check Must be eligible to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) and maintain registration with NMLS as a registered Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) Please provide resume and current documented ability to self-generate at least $1.2 million monthly volume.
