POsition overview: Mission Communications is seeking a full-time Electronic Technician to assist customers via phone in the troubleshooting of installation and repair of Mission monitoring equipment. This is a technical support position that is part of a required after-hours on-call rotation. THIS IS NOT AN IT POSITION. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Provide phone technical support to installers and operators of Mission equipment Utilize in-house ticketing system to track troubleshooting and service needs Interact with cellular providers through their technical help desk and ticketing system Provide after-hours support on a rotating schedule ReQUIRED Qualifications : Electronics technician diploma or equivalent work experience Knowledge of wireless technologies Experience troubleshooting low voltage circuits (AC and DC) Understanding of Digital, Analog, and Power Supply Circuits Must understand best practices for wiring Must have technical troubleshooting ability PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of pump control panels and instrumentation (analog transducers, related to the water/wastewater industry is a plus.
