Orders and Customer Service Coordinator

SUMMARY : This position provides direct customer service to Mid-Ohio Food Collective's (MOFC) agencies ordering food from our inventory and is responsible for coordinating delivery schedules and managing active orders in our inventory system, for both dry and perishable products. The Coordinator serves as the primary back up for the Orders & Customer Service Manager, as well as for the Orders & Customer Service Specialist. PRIMARY DUTIES : Creates delivery schedule for Transportation. Contacts agencies to inform them of delivery times and/or any changes to their orders. Point of contact for produce related questions and issues. Processes produce truck sheets from Warehouse on a daily basis. Reviews orders/invoices for accuracy and completeness. Bills and invoices orders for agencies expecting deliveries from Mid-Ohio Food Collective. Performs sync of agency orders to inventory management system and prints orders for warehouse. Creates Order "Issues" and Return to Stock (RTS) for Inventory. Works closely with warehouse and inventory staff to ensure MOFC partners receive excellent customer service. Greets and provides information to individuals coming to the Agency & Program Services lobby. Conducts matching in "FreshTrak" for MOFC and "Hands On". Monitors the cancellation mailbox in the Agency Services department email. Creates and distributes Recall and Product Removal Notices. Creates Monthly Commodity and Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) orders and print tickets to the warehouse. Assists in Agency & Program Services projects as necessary. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following safety practices and policies. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Education and Certifications: High School Diploma/GED required. Food Safety Certification (provided by Mid-Ohio Foodbank). Experience: At least one year of experience in customer service or other position working with external customers. Some experience in a social service setting preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of database operations. Skills/Competencies: Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent customer service. Ability to manage multiple tasks. Strong attention to details. Willingness to adjust to changing priorities. Good interpersonal skills. Must be able to represent Mid-Ohio Food Collective with professionalism when interacting with member agencies. JOB CONDITIONS : Working Conditions : Normal office environment.
