Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Billing Specialist II to join the join the Practice Management Billing team! Description: This is a full-time position working Monday Friday, 8 hours per day. T he selected applicant will assist Practice Billing by providing accurate submission of claims and consistent follow-up on unpaid claims utilizing reports, clearing house, and insurance explanation of benefits while filing appeals when necessary for reimbursement. Requirements: High school graduate or higher. Prefer three years' experience with CPT and ICD-10 coding. In this position, minimal to no on-the-job training should be expected. Training will only be provided to become familiar with the Administrative Office, Medical Staff, hospital rules and regulations and department processes specific to SRMC. Demonstrated mastery of the Billing Specialist I position. This includes demonstrating efficient and expert fulfillment of the Billing Specialist I position expectations. Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills with strong verbal communication. Your Health, Our Passion!
