WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: ScooterBug|Best Lockers is looking to employ an HR Recruiter with the ability to develop recruitment strategies to meet the objectives of the organization. The HR Recruiter is responsible for designing and implementing recruitment plans for the organization, partnering with management to assess, and identifying staffing needs. To ensure success as an HR recruiter, you should focus primarily on acquiring talented candidates who will add value to the organization. An outstanding HR recruiter should have a network of contacts in the industry and understand how to use social media to attract suitable candidates for current and future posts. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process. Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Responsible for job posting and advertisement processes. Screens applications and selects qualified candidates. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions. Performs other duties as assigned. Collaborates with the Human Resources Director during the offer process, identifying start dates and other pertinent details. Track open positions using recruiting software and manage resume database. Periodically refine internal job descriptions to accurately reflect the needs of the company. Performs other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Prefer a bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field such as business administration. 2-3 years of experience in a similar role would be ideal. Positive Attitude: A successful recruiter will be encouraging, positive and realistic about potential matches. Good research techniques: Efficiently ask questions that help understand the applicant's skills or the company's job requirements. Advocacy: Represent the applicant until it is time for the interview. Accurately represent the candidate's skills and qualifications and sell those criteria to the hiring manager. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. Advanced with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Effective communication and organization skills.
