PART-TIME: 24 HOURS FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE The Human Resource Specialist will support the daily functions of the Human Resource Department including hiring and interviewing staff to achieve required staffing levels; Manage the administration of the Applicant Tracking System and job boards. Develop and support employee wellness and engagement programs. Assist with administration of benefits and leave; and enforcing company policies and practices. Support the day-to-day activities of the department as needed. Responsible for recruiting, selecting, and onboarding of candidates. Develop recruitment strategies as a way to achieve required staffing levels. Organize and manage new employee orientation and onboarding of new employees; advertise job openings on company's website, social media, job boards and internally; screen incoming resumes and application forms. Assist with interviews (via phone, zoom and in-person). Meet with department hiring managers to develop specific recruiting plans, and provide training to improve recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reduce turnover. Develop and maintain relationships with community placement agencies, college and university and attend career fairs and hiring events, providing company information and job opportunities to potential candidates. Develop and support health and wellness with a focus on mental well-being and employee engagement activities ensuring activities occur monthly. Develop interactive wellness and engagement programming across the organization including the coordination of trainings, webinars, lunch & learn sessions. Work with Marketing Department regarding employee announcements and newsletter. Spearhead employee appreciation programming and events Assist with administering various employee benefits programs, such as medical, disability, retirement and other supplement benefits the YWCA offers. Assist employees in resolving benefits-related issues in an effective and timely manner, and educating them on all available benefits. Assist HR team with benefits orientations and enrollments, and m aintain knowledge of the company benefit campaigns, vendor relationships and enrollment processes, acting as a liaison between employees and insurance providers. Assist in coordination of employee incentive programs
