Basic Functions: The VP, Treasury Management's primary function is to perform all aspects of business development for new commercial banking and Treasury Management services with existing and prospective customers. The role will be responsible for consistently meeting or exceeding annual sales goals and sales activity targets by developing and executing a regular calling program and analyzing customer and prospect needs. The individual will serve as a primary, or secondary, point of contact for commercial customers, and will provide industry leading customer service and appropriate consultative solutions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITITES: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, with a focus on developing new business relationships to increase revenue and foster loan, deposit, and fee income growth. Utilize networking, community, and public relations activities to identify prospective commercial banking and treasury management opportunities. Perform product research and identify appropriate solutions for customer requirements and satisfaction. When appropriate, develop and present sales proposals to customers and prospects. This includes formal written and oral presentations in response to requests for proposals, as well as in the ordinary course of business. Serve as a liaison between the Bank and customers regarding issue resolution related to products and services. Manage client calls and contacts and meet all assigned goals. Assist commercial and treasury management customers with product training and product demonstrations as needed. Provide efficient onboarding and an exceptional customer experience for all new and existing commercial and treasury management customers. Track sales activities and timelines to ensure that the deliverables within onboarding project plans are met. Participate in community involvement activities, including board positions, to enhance the Bank's visibility, image, and reputation. Other duties as assigned. SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent customer service skills Able to modify sales approach to suit customer/prospect personalities Adaptable, open to, and respectful of differing points of view Ability to cope with organizational change in a positive manner Seize opportunities without direction Anticipates change in business environment Ability to manage multiple demands and shifting priorities Strong attention to detail and good planning and organizational skills Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook EXPERIENCE A minimum five years of prior commercial banking and treasury management sales and service experience Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field(s) is preferred. This is a full time, exempt position eligible for a robust benefit package. The successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.
