Employment Specialist/Job Coach Developmental Disabilities Resource Center is seeking to hire a full-time Employment Specialist/Job Coach to coordinate integrated employment services for people with Developmental Disabilities. Compensation : Salary Range: $21.00-$23.10/hour Benefits : Excellent Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off - Vacation, Sick and Holiday Pay Tuition Reimbursement 401(k) Flex Spending Plan A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST/JOB COACH As an Employment Specialist/Job Coach supports career seekers in pursuing their competitive, integrated employment goals. This position also coordinates with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and Medicaid. The Employment Specialist is a full time, 36 hours per week position requiring flexibility, as shifts vary depending upon the schedule and training needs of the people we support. Schedule will include some evenings and weekends, and are flexible dependent on service needs. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST/JOB COACH High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong preference for two years post-secondary education. Employment is for Everyone! We partner with people with developmental disabilities to lead the lives of their choice. Must be enthusiastic about supporting people's passions and career goals. Experience in a variety of industries is a plus. Ability to help others learn and grow in their positions in personalized, systematic and meaningful ways. Curiosity is key! Desire to explore needs with businesses and discover interests and skills with career seekers in order to make a great job match is at the heart of what we do.
