Advanced Dermatology, P.C. is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (Certified MA a plus) to come on board Full Time in our Setauket, NY location.Two years of experience working in Dermatology and/or Plastic Surgery preferred.EMA experience is a Plus!Schedule will include Weekdays and a potential Sunday if needed.Hours will range from 8am till 8pm Expectations: Must have a positive attitude and be focused on providing the patient with a great experience.Be able to maintain a good attitude and multi-task in a high paced environment.Within a few months, become knowledgeable about our full range of cosmetic treatments. Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting the physician with patient care including taking vital signs, obtaining history and chief complaint; assisting with biopsies and select cosmetic and surgical procedures. Other responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans and medication, education on cosmetic treatments, procedures, such as suture removal, dressing changes, allergen patch testing, and completion of pathology and lab requisition documents.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: Medical Assistant: 1 year (Required)
