This role is responsible for the education, training and growth of current staff and new employees. This position develops and coordinates validation of the competencies of nursing staff and Health Center staff to ensure proper care and treatment of residents/patients. Responsibilities: Assesses the learning needs of the staff through direct observation, formal learning assessments and indirectly through review of quality improvement and/or program evaluation. Plans, conducts, monitors and tracks training to meet the staff's training needs. Coordinates and participates in the orientation of all new employees. Plans, schedules and implements training for Health Center's new staff. Coordinates, implements and maintains records of all in-servicing for all staff. Coordinates the use of educational equipment and resources. Performs other staff education duties as required or directed for compliance with State and Federal Regulations. Tracks, evaluates, and measures the impact of training programs and learning activities on staff. Qualifications: Current RN or LPN state licensure without any enforcement action against it Previous experience in a skilled nursing setting preferred Previous Staff Developemtn/Education experience preferred Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English Don't wait or hesitate and forward your resume today!
