SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: As a leader in networking and specialty electronics in North and South America, Sagent is looking for a motivated, self-starting IT/Developer Intern as part of the Class of Summer 2023. As an intern, you can expect to demonstrate your skills, for collaboration and creative problem-solving daily. You will actively contribute to meaningful real-world projects which will be implemented during your internship. In addition to tackling practical business and technical problems, you will have access to a variety of mentors and senior leaders within the team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the IT/Development team in maintaining systems, software, and limited hardware. Create Power BI dashboards to optimize business decisions through the use of enhanced business analytics. Participate in Sagent's company-wide "digitalization" effort. Participate in DLL modification and documentation projects. Support IT/Development team in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, data center management, and resource accountability Other duties as assigned by appropriate Sagent leadership. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science (with AI), Computer Engineering, and Business Computer Information Systems Minimum GPA of a 3.0 Familiar with AI, Python, C#, C++, SQL, .Net, etc. Knowledge of Microsoft Stack (Power BI) Strong verbal and written communication Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work well in teams. Strong work ethic and attention to detail Energetic, self-motivated interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels.
