We are seeking a Jr. Mechanical Designer who can expand upon Fameccanica s goal of delivering excellence through innovative approach and thinking. This position involves the design and engineering of equipment and devices that meet the needs of challenging projects and applications and exceed customer expectations. What you will do: As a Jr. Mechanical Designer, you will be part of a design team and will assist other mechanical designers with designing mechanical components or groups/parts of an assigned machine, in line with technical specification, safety regulations, cost, and timing. What we need from you: We are looking for growth oriented and achievement focused Jr. Designers with an Associate Degree in Mechanical Design or Mechanical Engineering Technology and at least 2 years of relevant working experience. Additionally, bring your solid hands-on 3D CAD experience, preferably using Solid Edge or SolidWorks, and AutoCAD. Experience managing mechanical assemblies within a data management system (SAP preferred) is desired. This position will require occasional travel to Europe and to customer sites in North America for technical discussions and design review (10% or less).
