Purpose The Director, Global Governance & Controls Program Management is a key member of the Global Banking and Markets Internal Control team. The Director leads a team that manages the delivery of key risk and control programs and projects across the 1st line (supporting all regional Internal Control teams as well as the AML Controls function), and also the delivery of business enabling technology and solutions. What You'll Do: Global lead on all project and program activities across GBM Internal Control; manages intake process to identify and backss new change programs and leads team in managing them to completion Provide program level change leadership to ensure that change is managed to a defined lifecycle replete with appropriate governance, documentation and reporting Global lead on AML’s Program Governance function; leads the AML Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) program and Sanctions Risk backssment (EMRA/ESRA) across all regions and coordinate audit item resolution and regulatory responses when required Acts as the lead for GBM 1st line with respect to coordination with Enterprise and GBM AML Risk (2nd line) on Bank-wide or global GBM initiatives. Leads process excellence (PEX) efforts across Internal Control; works with both regional Internal Control and global AML Control teams to identify opportunities to uplift their processes and drives the change to realize those benefits Delivers meaningful management reporting on the GBM Internal Control change agenda to senior management and key stakeholders Engage with the business effectively to understand what they need to be successful - partner with Technology to deliver effective business technology solutions to enable that success Lead governance forums (meetings, working groups, steercos) and manage relationships across a broad swathe of stakeholders Effectively prioritize.
