Fire Safety Surveyor Covering the wider Hampshire area, with travel to the South West Permanent, Full time (37.5 hpw) Salary circa £40,000 pa, plus great benefits including health cash plan! Home a place where you belong We have a fantastic job opportunity for a Fire Safety Surveyor to join our awesome team of building and safety professionals. You’ll manage on site works to successful completion through pre and post inspection. You’ll also ensure work is delivered in accordance with Building Regulations, good practice and fire safety standards. You make sure that our customers’ experience is at the heart of everything you do. You act quickly when things go wrong, take ownership and are accountable to put things ‘right first time’ through collaborative working. Typical day as a Fire Safety Surveyor Carrying out pre and post inspections of fire risk actions carried out by contractors and colleagues. You’ll also respond promptly to actions identified, specifying works required to correct standards. Providing technical advice and support to our trades, maintenance managers, subcontractors and suppliers so we deliver a high-quality, cost-effective and compliant service. Contract management including progress against building works schedules. Utilising customer insight to support us in delivering on our customer promise. Ensuring all works carried out meet health and safety standards with zero tolerance taken to non-compliance. Overseeing our Fire Safety Contractors who maintain our Active Fire Systems and managing any related systems or issues Overseeing specialist contractors in the delivery of our passive fire programme (Fire doors, fire stopping etc) Fancy going home each day knowing that you have helped change our customers lives for the better?
