We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in West Lancashire to assist with the appointment of a Communications and Marketing Officer , on a 3-month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Summary: To assist in developing and delivering diverse range of communications andmarketing plans to promote the work of the Council and the West Lancashire Placed Based programme including areas to support the Tourism and Visitor Economy Responsibilities: To assist in developing and delivering diverse range of communications and marketing plans to promote the work of the Council and the West Lancashire Placed Based programme including areas to support Tourism and the Visitor Economy. To support a range of websites using different platforms (includingwordpress) and provide web analytics reports using both Google Analytics and Siteimprove. To support brand development and proposition through variousmarketing and digital channels To deliver a range of paid and non-paid social media campaignsacross multiple platforms e. g. Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, Instagram, with sensitivity to differing audience and campaign needs. To create engaging content for a variety of media including mediastatements, blogs and social media Qualifications: 5 GCSEs grade A-C (or equivalent) including Maths and English or relevant experience. Experience: Working experience of various website platforms including Wordpress and adapting for different audiences Working experience of web analytics such as Google Analytics and Siteimprove. Skills in writing, editing and publishing engaging copy forinternal and external audiences using a variety of platforms including social media Proven experience and successful track record in organising and delivering multiple communication andmarketing campaigns in a timely way Working experience in paid for social media campaigns Good creative skills to produce visual.
