Date Posted: 12/14/2023 Req ID: 35364 Faculty/Division: VP & Provost Department: Hart House Campus : St. George (Downtown Toronto) Description: Working independently under the general direction of the Warden, the Executive Coordinator is the day-to-day “right hand” to the Warden. They are responsible for providing a high-level of executive coordination, confidential strategic and operational advice, administrative direction, senior project coordination, and either management of or support for key initiatives on behalf of the Warden’s Office. The Executive Coordinator also functions as the Secretariat for all governing, strategic and operational committees of the House, and related subcommittees, including, but not limited to, the Hart House Board of Stewards. The incumbent supports the strategic and operational initiatives led by the Warden, including, but not limited to, the provision of executive-level administrative support services where required. The incumbent to this position is the recording secretary and integral member of the planning team of the Leadership Team, the Board of Stewards, and various committees and subcommittees of the House. The Executive Coordinator represents the Warden’s Office on priority House-wide or campus-wide projects or programs to lead coordination across departments and ensure strategic objectives are met. The incumbent serves as the project manager for content-sensitive or time-sensitive initiatives on behalf of the Warden’s Office, including the business planning and business continuity processes for Hart House, process/program reviews (e. g. Hart House Farm), and the development of a House-wide emergency action plan. As a first point-of-contact, the incumbent ensures these processes are streamlined and ensures clear communication across Hart House staff.
