Industrial Dispatcher Location: Prince George, BCDiversified Transportation is currently seeking a full-time Dispatcher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing company that offers competitive wages, professional growth, and work-life balance. The shift for this position is Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 3:30 pm, with some requirements to work on-call hours on a rotational basis. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide internal and external clients with key performance indicator reporting, i. e. safety, routing, on-time performance, etc. Assist employees with timesheets and upkeep of personnel files Respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner Take minutes for any team meetings Complete data entry into various systems Liaise with other departments for accurate information related to training, scheduling, and time entry Assist Operations with any projects that may arise for internal and external reporting or analysis Communicate the importance of improving the company's KPI's Receive and answer emergency and non-emergency calls Respond to emails, ensure timely responses Proactively address customer problems and suggest solutions Maintain office supply inventory and re-order as necessary backss situation and prioritize calls Schedule drivers for charters and industrial contracts Payroll entry Coordinate the scheduling of driver backssments Rotational on-call schedule to handle after-hours emergencies Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 1 year of customer service related work experience Previous dispatch/transportation operations experience considered an asset Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel at an intermediate level and the ability to learn internal software applications Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail and confidentiality and must be fully aware of the sensitivity of the position and act upon it accordingly Ability.
